The writing on the wall

Due to my intense morning all-day sickness, I've been much less vigilant about following Piglet around to make sure he's not getting into trouble.  Meaning, I just lay on the couch moaning and sighing loudly while he runs rampant, pulling on the dog's ears, taking out all the baking sheets and being generally a little naughty.

Today I was trying to get my mojo on to go meet my awesome Thursday ladies and babies for some park play time and a walk to our favorite french bakery and Sbux. Piglet was suspiciously quiet.  Never a good sign.  I willed myself off the couch and found him at the mudroom door like this:

While I don't love the behavior, he was so cute and proud and smart enough to conceal the offending orange crayon when he saw me that I couldn't help but laugh.  Besides, it's nothing that a M.agic Eraser can't handle, no problem.

Maybe Piglet was trying to tell me something...the writing has been on the wall for a week now.  My nausea is not going anywhere fast and with a Piglet to police and keep in line (and snuggle, feed and entertain) I need to be at the top of my game. I caved and called my OB for a prescription.  So far the Zo.fran seems to be helping.  I'm now hurling about 42% less than before.  An improvement!

He is so cute!!! The zofran has probably saved my sanity - and my job. I felt terrible taking it but the alternative is much worse! So far, my babies have been fine and I have met and talked to many, many women who took it and had live, healthy babies!

He is just so adorable! I've been hiding J's crayons when she's not using them because I keep picturing my whole house covered in J originals. hahaha

So glad the zofran is helping you feel a little better!!

When I was visiting my sister one time we put the girls to bed and went downstairs to watch TV. Emma, then 2.5, woke up and very quietly (since we didn't hear her on the monitor) went into the bathroom and got into mommy's expensive makeup. She painted the hallway wall, carpeting, and of course herself, before passing out on the floor in the hall. Of course I took photos, and we were laughing so hard and trying to be quiet and not wake her up that my sister didn't cry *too much* about the loss of make-up. :)

Hope you feel even better than 42% less puking!

Oooooh, yeah. When it's *really* quite, that's when you have to be worried. I bet piglet was just trying to make you a get-well card. He's too cute!

Glad to hear the medicine is helping you to feel better!

I'm glad you got the zofran. It's difficult to be pregnant with a toddler -- there is no doubt about that one.

Good thing he is a cutie pie. :)

Magic Erasers are THE BOMB. And I don't even have a toddler. They work on white fabric too, in a pinch.
